Fictional demo project: a concept study, not a commission and not built. The photos are Unsplash reference images, not work by Studio Alibi. A material study for an imagined film interior: a lived-in timber cabin with a sleeping loft, where a family scene plays out over one winter evening. Before anything is built, the study fixes the palette – whitewashed pine boards, a raw-timber ladder stair, worn leather, wool blankets, cane and sheepskin – and tests which surfaces need ageing so they do not look new under warm practical lights. The references cover the architecture of the loft, a single prop chair as a benchmark for texture, and an outbuilding workshop as a second, darker location. Everything here is preparation; no set has been built.
