Print Night – Event in a Screen-Print Shop
Infos
Fictional demo project: a concept study, not a commission and not built. The photos are Unsplash reference images, not work by Studio Alibi. Print Night outlines a one-evening event inside a working screen-print shop, where the presses stay put and the room is reorganised around them. A ring of steel hanging rails carries fresh posters at eye level, drying racks become a cloakroom, and a temporary bar is built from two print tables with a scaffold board on top. Every intervention is clamped and reversible, so the shop can print again the next morning. The references show the density of posters and machinery the event has to work with, and the kind of compact, raw counter it borrows from. Scope: event concept, floor plan, temporary bar, poster hanging Material: steel rails and clamps, scaffold boards, paper Planned output: floor plan for around 120 guests, clamp details, set-up and strike schedule
